End Time Message Prison Ministry

Introduction.

The End Time Message Prison Ministry is one of our outreach programs dedicated to providing spiritual, intellectual, and emotional support to prison inmates across Zimbabwe. Operating under the revelation that all individuals are created in the image of God and that no life is beyond redemption, the fellowship is active in 46 correctional facilities across Zimbabwe. It was established in the year 2000 under the able leadership of Reverend Hama Blessing Chesa. Reverend Chesa’s unwavering faith and visionary leadership laid the cornerstone for what has become a beacon of hope and transformation for countless individuals within Zimbabwe’s correctional facilities.

We believe in the power of redemption and the transformative love of God. Our mission is to bring hope, healing, and change to prisoners, their families, and communities nationwide.

The Ministry

The fellowship seeks to reduce recidivism rates by addressing the comprehensive needs of inmates. This includes fostering intellectual, emotional, and spiritual growth to help individuals overcome detrimental behaviors, avoid addictive relationships, and reintegrate successfully into society.

The ministry provides:

  • Religious services – various End Time Message ministers lead services for inmates in prisons across the nation delivering structured Bible studies and conducting evangelistic events.
  • Structured Bible classes – inmates are taken through deep teachings of the Bible according to the revelation given to us by Jesus Christ by the prophet William Marrion Branham
  • Comprehensive rehabilitation through the Word – Offering life skills training, mentorship programs  aimed at reducing recidivism.
  • Re-entry program – including relation tracing, facilitating forgiveness and acceptance.
  • Spiritual and Emotional Support – Providing pastoral care through sermons, redemption songs, testimonies, prayer, and fellowship.
  • Family preservation – Children of incarcerated parents face unique challenges. The ministry seek to preserve the integrity of the family through practical assistance, psycho-social support, helping maintain child-parent bonds and preparing for a hopeful reunion

Proclaim Liberty to the Captives—Luke 4:18

The harvest is truly plentiful, but we need your help to meet the needs of those who are in great need. Your donations of Bibles and foodstuffs will significantly impact the lives of inmates, providing them with spiritual nourishment and essential sustenance. Together, we can continue to sow the seeds of faith and support the holistic well-being of those incarcerated.

Impact on the Prison Community

  • Community Building: The shared experience of reading and discussing spiritual materials fosters a sense of community and mutual support among inmates.
  • Positive Behavior: Exposure to Christian teachings and values often leads to improved behavior and attitudes among prisoners, contributing to a more positive environment within the prison
